If over half of American women approve of Sarah Palin then how can feminists continue with the ruse that their incoherent discourse reflects the interests of 51 percent of the population?

According to Rasmussen Reports, “she (Sarah Palin) earns positive reviews from 65% of men and 52% of women.”

If over half of American women approve of her then how can feminists continue with the ruse that their incoherent discourse reflects the interests of 51 percent of the population? They do so because it is their nature. If they dropped the pretense of feminism and “women” being one, they would find themselves devoid of funding and legislative support.

Modern-day feminism doesn’t tell women how to live their lives, but rather seeks to give women the same CHOICES as men. It is about breaking down the artificial divides and inequalities between the sexes. Obviously, not all women want to take advantage of those freedoms, in the same way that many MEN would be happier playing the “female” role by staying at home and looking after their kids (if they knew they wouldn’t be stigmatized). Anything is incoherent if you don’t take any time to understand it.

Sarah Palin is a terrible role model for women and for America. She is ignorant. She is a donkey in a dress. She is a Stepford Wife. She is a joke.Obama, however naive he may be about what it is possible to achieve in a country dragged down by religious fruitcakes and selfish bigots, knows something about life outside America (or rather, outside Alaska) and recognises the responsibilities that come with leading one of the world’s most powerful countries.

Palin is not any definition of “feminist” that I would ever embrace. She’s more like the Jennifer Ainston of candidates- famous for who she was with (McCain) rather than for anything she has ever done. She’s great at getting her picture in the media. Who cares about Sarah Palin? Let’s stop wasting our time and get some damn work done to fix this country! Palin just distracts from the job at hand.
